Agilus is recruiting for a Accountant in the retail industry in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Total rewards:

$55000.00 - $65000.00 annually
2 weeks vacation
Monday to Friday in office
Supportive team environment

Competitive salary based on experience
Permanent position

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions including high volume invoicing
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Handling intercompany transactions
Process payments and prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain and update financial records and documentation

You bring:

3+ years of experience in the accounting field (AP/AR)
Strong AR/AP experience
Handled accounting duties for multiple companies at a time preferred
Experience working with multiple currencies highly desirable
Can-do attitude with the ability to juggle priorities and be a team player
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Intermediate MS Excel user
High volume invoice experience preferred
