Agilus is recruiting for an Database Administrator I in the Oil and Gas Sector in Bonnyville, Alberta.

$55.00 hourly
5 days on / 2 days off
12 Months of contract position

A typical day:

Provide Server Database Administration support for various server database environments including Critical applications.
Responsibilities include backup and recovery, space monitoring, reorganizations, performance tuning, troubleshooting, version upgrades, and object maintenance.
Candidate will play an integral role in the implementation of database development, acceptance, and production environments across the globe, working closely with multiple Infrastructure teams.
Ongoing production support of existing databases is the primary role.

Successful candidates will have:

Previous experience as an IT professional and as a Server Database Administrator, SQL, database knowledge, data structure, analytical skills preferred.
7 Years of experience, Oil & gas industry preferred.
Mixed role involving database administration + robotics + automation + drone programming
Prior experience in robotics and programming preferred.
At least basic technical knowledge required.
Requires robotics/programming exposure and operational support capability
