Now Hiring: Dry Waste Recycling Sorters!
Agilus is recruiting for a Recycling Sorter in the Waste Management Industry in Berry Mills, New Brunswick.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for sorting dry waste materials on a conveyor line to ensure proper recycling and disposal. This position plays an important role in supporting environmental sustainability and efficient facility operations.
We offer:

$16.30 hourly
Weekly Payroll
4% vacation pay, paid out weekly
Schedule: Monday- Friday from 4:30pm- 1:00am

Responsibilities:

Manually sort dry waste materials (e.g., plastics, cardboard, paper, metals) on a conveyor belt.
Identify and remove non-conforming or hazardous materials.
Maintain focus and productivity while working in a fast-paced environment.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements:

Physically able to lift up to 25–50 lbs as required.
Ability to perform physical requirements including standing for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, sitting, bending etc.
Ability to work in an industrial environment (noise, dust, odors).
Willingness to wear required PPE (CSA Approved Steel Toed Shoes and other personal protective equipment).
Reliable transportation required as this location is not on a bus route.
Previous experience in waste management, recycling, or industrial work is an asset but not required.
Must have a clean criminal background.
