Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Facilities Engineering Manager in the Automotive Manufacturing industry in Belvidere, Illinois.
We are seeking a Manager of Facility Engineering Services to support a large-scale automotive manufacturing operation in Belvidere, Illinois. This permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced facilities or manufacturing engineering professional who can lead engineering initiatives, oversee facility infrastructure projects, and coordinate complex plant layout and systems activities within a high-volume production environment.
Total rewards:

$40.00 - $60.00 hourly

Responsibilities:

Manage facility engineering services and related operations
Lead advanced general assembly layout reviews and development
Coordinate overall facility and production layouts
Maintain plant layout documentation and standards
Review line integrator scopes and project requirements
Conduct electrical distribution assessments
Oversee facility lighting surveys and recommendations
Direct conveyor carrier surveys and infrastructure evaluations

Requirements:

Bring 5+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Demonstrate experience within facilities engineering or related disciplines
Apply strong project coordination and leadership capabilities
Manage multiple engineering priorities in a fast-paced setting
Review technical scopes and engineering deliverables
Interpret facility layouts and infrastructure requirements
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Hold an engineering degree preferred but not required
