Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Facilities Engineer in the Automotive Manufacturing industry in Belvidere, Illinois.
We're seeking an Automotive Facilities Engineer to support facility engineering initiatives within a leading automotive manufacturing environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work on assembly operations, facility layouts, infrastructure assessments, and production line coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing facility systems that support efficient manufacturing operations.
Total rewards:

$35.00 - $50.00 hourly
Earn a competitive hourly rate between $35 and $50/hr based on experience
Work on high-profile automotive manufacturing projects

Responsibilities:

Support facility engineering activities within a manufacturing environment
Review and develop facility and production layouts
Coordinate overall plant layout maintenance and updates
Conduct line integrator scope reviews
Perform electrical distribution surveys and assessments
Complete facility lighting surveys and evaluations
Conduct conveyor carrier surveys and inspections
Identify opportunities to improve facility functionality and efficiency

Requirements:

Possess 3+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Demonstrate experience in facility engineering activities
Apply strong knowledge of manufacturing facility layouts
Review technical drawings, plans, and engineering documentation
Coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders and project teams
Analyze facility infrastructure and operational requirements
Hold an engineering degree preferred but not required
Adapt to a fast-paced automotive production environment
