Component Attach Operator

Agilus is recruiting for a Component Attach Operator in the Micro-Electronics Industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
Component Attach Operator sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operations against predetermined tolerances.
A typical day:

Carries out repetitive testing where product and process differentiation is required to assist in fault determination.
Conducts product inspection or testing, documenting as required, according to specific procedures.
Recognizes discrepancies in documentation or problems with quality, product or process, and recommends changes.
Independently provides support to the Manufacturing Team Lead.
Uses a variety of current software to properly execute required computer transactions, such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel.
Records data on a daily basis.
Identifies and articulates corrective action requirements.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role; experience working in a manufacturing environment is ideal
High School Diploma, minimum
Must be comfortable having a background check conducted
Must be able to attend training on day shift for 3 - 8 weeks
