Materials Coordinator

Agilus is recruiting for a Materials Coordinator in the oil & gas industry in Cold Lake, Alberta.
The Materials Coordinator is responsible for managing all activities required to ensure effective end-to-end coordination of materials for project support. This role serves as the primary interface between the business unit and procurement, working closely with planning, inventory, vendors, buyers, and maintenance teams. On a daily basis, the coordinator provides customer support, ensures timely and clear communication, aligns processes with business practices and controls, and delivers a high level of materials and services fulfillment to support site maintenance activities.
Total rewards:

$40.00 - $44.00 hourly
Preferred rates for benefit coverage available
12 month contract; Opportunity for extension

A typical day:

Provide input on a risk-based equipment spares stock that optimizes reliability versus cost
Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with supporting departments, promote a continuous improvement mind set
Assist with returning parts to stock and/or vendor for credit, and core management within the mining industry
Assist the business in executing system transactions and coordination of the logistics for repair and return stock materials

Successful candidates will have:

5+ years experience within the oil & gas industry
Supply chain - end to end business management
Proficiency in SAP
Strong knowledge of how and where materials are used in the plant
Advanced time management skills
