Agilus Work Solutions is recruiting for a Manager, People and Culture in Victoria, BC. This senior HR leadership role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution. You’ll design and implement HR programs that drive engagement, performance, and compliance while supporting a collaborative, high-performing culture. A typical day:
  • Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with company goals
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and talent management
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and workforce planning
  • Lead performance programs and employee relations initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and HR policies
  • Optimize HRIS systems and reporting for efficiency
  • Support leadership development and succession planning
  • Advise on complex HR issues, including disability and attendance management

Successful candidates will have:
  • Diploma or degree in HR, Business, or related field (CPHR preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of BC Employment Standards and HR legislation
  • Proven success in HR program development and implementation
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to manage complex issues with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience in multi-site or service-oriented organizations preferred
