Agilus is recruiting for a Branch Manager in the Energy Services Sector in Valleyview, Alberta. A recognized leader in the energy services sector is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee full-cycle operations at our Valleyview branch. This full-service provider specializes in E&I maintenance, renewables/solar, major projects, combustion & emissions reduction, and measurement.
We are looking for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about team development, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. A typical day:- Oversee daily operations and scheduling of field employees to ensure optimal productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Lead recruitment efforts including resume reviews, interviews, and hiring decisions.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and recommend promotions and compensation adjustments.
- Mentor and support apprentices and Journeymen to foster professional growth.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Estimating, Finance, and HR.
- Monitor budgets, project costs, and branch financial objectives in coordination with the CFO.
- Promote and uphold company culture and safety standards through active leadership and engagement.
Successful candidates will have:- 5–10 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician or Instrument Technician.
- 2–5 years of management experience in a similar industry or informal leadership.
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with safety protocols.
Total rewards:- $140000.00 - $150000.00 annually
