Agilus is recruiting for a Contract Drilling and Completions Technician in the city of in Calgary, Alberta.
Join a dynamic downtown Calgary team as a Contract Drilling & Completions Technician. This on-site role supports Completions, Construction, and Drilling operations, requiring strong data management, regulatory knowledge, and technical expertise. Ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
A typical day:

Support Completions Technician with data entry, reporting, and analysis
Assist Construction and Drilling Technicians with operational tasks
Manage well data using WellView for drilling and completions
Prepare and submit regulatory applications and notifications
Analyse and report monthly data using Power BI and Excel
Coordinate across teams to ensure accurate data and compliance
Maintain documentation in Open Invoice/Open Ticket systems
Ensure accuracy in regulatory submissions to AER and BCER

Successful candidates will have:

3–5 years of experience in drilling and completions support
Proficiency in WellView, SiteView, and Pason data systems
Experience with Power BI dashboards and data visualisation
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and D365
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational skills
Eagerness to learn and grow with the role
