Agilus is recruiting for a Urban Planner in the Civil Engineering industry in Windsor, Ontario.
Are you passionate about sustainable development and community building? We’re seeking a skilled Urban Planner to lead impactful planning and development projects across Ontario. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams, engage stakeholders, and shape vibrant, livable communities.
Responsibilities:

Lead preparation and submission of planning and development applications
Serve as primary contact for clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
Develop planning reports, policy analyses, and technical documentation
Provide expert advice on complex planning and regulatory issues
Conduct land use feasibility and development assessments
Facilitate public consultations and community engagement sessions
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver planning deliverables
Support construction and implementation phases with planning input

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of professional planning experience
Proven experience managing planning and development applications
Strong knowledge of Ontario’s planning framework
Skilled in public consultation and stakeholder engagement
Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and visualization tools
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
Degree in Urban/Regional Planning or related field
Registered Professional Planner (RPP) with OPPI membership
