Senior Business Analyst

Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst in the Oil and Gas Industry in Calgary, Alberta.
The Senior Business Analyst will Supports Corporate Finance teams by streamlining and maintaining financial processes within JD Edwards ERP, focusing on areas like reporting, planning, and fixed assets.
A typical day:

Collaborate with Corporate Finance teams to define business and technical requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Scope and document process enhancements and problem areas
Partner with IT and Finance to support system enhancements and troubleshoot issues, including JD Edwards interfaces
Provide day-to-day technical support for JD Edwards users across divisions
Lead data cleansing initiatives within JD Edwards and support the project team in preparation for future ERP transition

Successful candidates will have:

Strong working knowledge of JD Edwards Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets) and system integrations
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent); solid accounting foundation
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
Proficient in Excel and MS Visio (intermediate to advanced level)
Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Deep understanding of business processes across finance operations
Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in finance systems and analysis
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure to meet deadlines

Total rewards:

Pay Rate: T4 $48/hour, INC $55, flexible based on experience
2-3 Month Contract to start with opportunity for extension based on project needs
Mon - Fri in office, 830am - 5pm
