Lead the Future of Energy Projects – Senior Process Engineer (EPFC, Calgary)
Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
Role Description: Join a dynamic team in Calgary as a Senior Process Engineer, where you'll lead multidisciplinary projects from concept to commissioning in a fully integrated engineering, fabrication, and construction environment. This is a high-impact role for experienced professionals passionate about innovation and collaboration in oil, gas, and energy projects.
Responsibilities:

Lead process design from concept to completion
Develop key process deliverables including simulations and PFDs
Conduct feasibility and optimization studies
Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and construction teams
Manage stakeholder relationships and project communications
Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, and LOPA meetings
Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up
Assist in proposal development and resource planning

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
Professional Engineer designation
Minimum 10 years of process engineering experience on gas processing projects
Experience with EPCM environments
Proficient in HYSYS, Flarenet, and process design tools
Skilled in equipment sizing and process calculations
Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations
Strong leadership and communication skills
