Agilus is recruiting for a Capital Markets Business Analyst in the Financial Sector in a hybrid work environment in Mississauga, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
Support development and testing of solutions across data and risk analytics platforms.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to implement automation, data integration, and deployment processes.
Manage traceability of system requirements across design, development, testing, and production stages.
Participate in DevOps practices to streamline CI/CD workflows and deployment pipelines.
Write and maintain technical documentation including process flows, use cases, and configuration details.
Conduct SQL-based data analysis, validation, and QA testing to ensure system integrity.
Work closely with multiple business lines to support initiatives related to the IRB Small Business and RRAE (Retail Risk Analytics Engineering) programs.

Requirements:

8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology or financial services.
3–5 years of hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
5+ years of experience working with SQL for data analysis and validation.
Experience supporting application databases and Linux-based systems.
5+ years of experience in testing, QA validation, and results documentation.
Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Further additional qualifications:

Prior experience in Banking or Capital Markets environments.
Familiarity with Risk Management processes, including retail or credit risk.
Knowledge of financial instruments and OFSI regulatory requirements.
Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud-based data ecosystems.
