Master of Organized Chaos Wanted: Join Our Residential Dispatch Team!
Agilus is recruiting for a Provincial Dispatcher in the Waste management industry in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
We are seeking a highly organized and resilient Residential Dispatcher to join our fast-paced team. This role is central to the daily coordination of residential services, acting as the communication hub between drivers, homeowners, the general public, and internal staff. If you thrive in a busy environment described as “organized chaos,” and can manage multiple moving parts with confidence and clarity, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:

Managing inbound and outbound calls from a wide range of contacts including: Residential drivers Homeowners and the general public Internal staff
Acting as the central communication point for residential operations, ensuring timely and accurate dispatching
Using TRUX software to coordinate routes, track progress, and update schedules
Communicating via phones and 2-way radios to keep field teams informed and responsive
Navigating a busy environment with many moving parts — described by the team as “organized chaos”

Successful candidates will have:

4 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination required
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency with dispatching software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

What's in it for you:

$23.75 hourly
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Weekly pay + 4% vacation pay
