Civil Design Engineer

Agilus is recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer in the Engineering consulting industry in London, Ontario.
As a Civil Design Engineer, you’ll work on impactful private and public development projects across London, Southwestern Ontario, and beyond. From site development to municipal infrastructure upgrades, your designs will help create safer, healthier, and more vibrant places to live and work.
A typical day:

Participate in project team meetings and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient project delivery.
Prepare technical reports
Review and evaluate background project information using engineering skills and critical thinking process.
Perform engineering design and analysis - storm and sanitary design, water distribution system design, storm water management facility modeling and design, road design, etc. Convey design information to CAD staff for preparation of engineering drawings.
Complete design calculations based on engineering principles, meeting applicable regulatory codes and standards.
Collaborating with team

Successful candidates will have:

Degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering
4-10+ years of experience within a consulting firm.
Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.)
Knowledge of engineering principles, applicable government technical standards and legislative regulations.
Excellent technical report writing skills, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving is required.
