Structural Design Engineering Manager

Agilus is recruiting for a Structural Design Engineering Manager in the Engineering Sector in Detroit, Michigan.
Lead structural engineering projects with a focus on steel and concrete facility design. Drive innovation, mentor teams, and ensure high-quality delivery across industrial and automotive sectors.
Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and oversight for structural design projects.
Ensure compliance with CSA, AISC, ACI, and other applicable codes.
Lead and validate design solutions for industrial and automotive facilities.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of drawings and deliverables.
Act as the primary technical contact for clients and structural projects.
Oversee site investigations, inspections, and construction coordination.
Mentor junior and intermediate engineers and technologists.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Successful candidates will have:

Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
PE designation or eligible to obtain.
10+ years of structural engineering experience, including steel and concrete design.
5+ years in a senior or management role.
Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, Tekla, Revit, Advance Steel.
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
Experience in consulting engineering and multidisciplinary coordination.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain US or Canadian work permit.
