A respected and design-driven architectural studio in Victoria is seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to take the next step in their career. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and community impact, the firm offers a clear path toward future ownership for the right candidate.
A typical day:

Lead and manage multiple projects through all phases
Develop and review Design Development drawings and specifications
Produce Construction Documents and 3D design renderings
Perform Contract Administration and prepare tender documents
Conduct code and bylaw analysis and quality control reviews
Coordinate with consultants and manage project documentation
Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and authorities

Successful candidates will have:

Master of Architecture (or equivalent experience with a Bachelor of Architecture)
Minimum 10 years of Canadian/BC experience, with at least 5 years as a registered Architect
Proficient in Revit ACC (BIM) and familiar with BCBC 2024
Registered with the AIBC or eligible for registration
Strong portfolio showcasing design and technical expertise
Proficiency in Lumion, Photoshop, and other rendering tools
Knowledge of sustainable design standards (Passive House, Step Code, LEED®)
Valid BC Driver’s License

Total rewards:

$95000.00 - $115000.00 annually
