Lead Government & Institutional Builds Across Eastern Ontario: Site Superintendent Opportunity
Agilus is recruiting for a Site Superintendent in the Construction Industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
Agilus is recruiting for Site Superintendents to oversee commercial construction projects across either Ottawa, or Kingston, Trenton and Cornwall. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong grasp of complex scopes, multiphase sequencing, and client-facing communication in government and institutional builds.
Responsibilities:

Lead commercial construction projects across either Kingston (including Trenton and Cornwall) or Ottawa
Manage government and institutional builds with complex scopes
Sequence and schedule using MS Project with high proficiency
Communicate confidently with senior-level clients and stakeholders
Oversee multiphase construction execution and team coordination
Ensure compliance with contracts and safety standards
Apply trade knowledge and technical expertise to site operations
Maintain high standards of quality and performance

Requirements:

5+ years (Ottawa) or 10+ years (Kingston) of commercial construction experience with a large general contractor
5+ years as a superintendent in similar environments
Proven success on government and institutional projects
Strong proficiency in MS Project and contract management
Deep understanding of complex scopes and multiphase sequencing
Journeyman trade certification or equivalent experience
Technical diploma and/or Gold Seal certification
Excellent communication and leadership skills
