Skilled Trade Worker

Windsor, ON

Agilus is recruiting for several Skilled Trade Workers in the Manufacturing industry in Windsor, Ontario.
Our client is a leading North America-based steel producer with focus on value-added sheet products, particularly for the automotive industry. They are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Skilled Trade Workers to support their production operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
A typical day:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Fabricate, weld, and machine parts as needed for repairs or improvements
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies

Successful candidates will have:

3rd or 4th year apprentice -Millwright / Tool & Die Maker/ Electrician
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with CNC machines, PLCs, and robotic systems is an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
