Mechanical Planner

Agilus is recruiting for a Mechanical Planner in the oil & gas industry in Nanticoke, Ontario.
Our client is seeking a Planner to join their team on a long term contract - starting as a 2 year contract with the opportunity for extension. The ideal candidates will have a trades background in boiler making, pipefitting or welding.
A typical day:

Planning of routine maintenance &/or turnaround jobs on assigned units.
Support maintenance and/or Turnaround, majors & projects when required.
Support development of work scopes including equipment requests and execution methods.
Prepares work schedule and cost estimates
Performs field supervision to ensure work is executed safely as per plan

Successful candidates will have:

Trades background - boilermaker, pipefitter or welding
Mechanical background
5+ years planning experience
Must have extensive refinery experience
Ability in SAP, Primavera, or Microsoft project

Total rewards:

Hourly Pay
