Agilus is recruiting for a Shop Foreman - night shift in the Machinery industry in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
As a Shop Foreman, you will leverage your mechanical knowledge and leadership abilities to manage daily shop operations with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and professionalism. You’ll lead and mentor a team of mechanics, ensuring that both company-owned and customer equipment is kept in optimal working condition through proactive preventative maintenance and timely repairs.
Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled OEM repairs on various types of machinery
Repair equipment to OEM-regulated specifications
Diagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Conduct all preventive maintenance (PM) service requirements, recondition and replace parts on heavy equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Lead, coach, and mentor team members as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned

Successful candidates will have:

Journeyman Red Seal certification is an asset
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics and warning labels
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Strong time management skills
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to following safe work procedures

What's in it for you:

$65000.00 - $75000.00 annually
Night shift, 4:30pm-3:30am
Monday to Thursday shift
