Process / Applications Engineer

Agilus is recruiting for a Process/ Applications Engineer in the Engineering, Procurement & Construction sector in Calgary, Alberta.
Our client is looking to add an experienced Process/ Applications Engineer to support proposal development and contribute to the design and engineering of oil & gas processing equipment.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior engineers on process design, simulations, and equipment sizing.
Prepare technical documents: PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, line sizing, and equipment specs.
Support proposal development with cost estimates, vendor coordination, and bid documentation.
Select and specify control valves, safety valves, and buyout equipment.
Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams across engineering, fabrication, and proposals.
Review fabrication drawings and assist with design troubleshooting during manufacturing.
Contribute to the development and improvement of estimating tools and procedures.

Requirements:

5+ years in an Applications Engineering role within oil & gas (EPCM or fabrication).
Strong process simulation skills (e.g., HYSYS, ProMax).
Proficient in MS Office and engineering software tools.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
