Agilus is recruiting for several Causal Banquet Servers in the Hospitality industry in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
We’re looking for friendly, reliable Banquet Servers to join our on-call team. Work exciting events when it suits you — no fixed hours, just rewarding shifts that fit your life. Bring your positive attitude and excellent service skills to help us deliver top-notch hospitality.
You will:

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings, linens, and decorations
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, following event schedules
Clear plates and clean tables efficiently to maintain a tidy environment
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Adapt to different event types and guest needs with a positive attitude
Need to have white/black dress shirt and black dress pants

Successful candidates will have:

2 + years of previous serving experience
Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, walk and lift for extended periods of time
Clear Criminal Background
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible, on-call hours, including evenings and weekends
